Echeveria ‘Afterglow’ is a beautiful succulent presenting wide pastel looking pink-lavender leaves. The leaves have contrasting bright pink edges. Echeveria ‘Afterglow’ grows on a short stout stem that holds wide rosettes. The deep orange-red flowers usually emerge from below the lower leaves. Flower stalks are usually as they detract from the foliage. It is best planted in full sun to get the most vibrant color but it grows also in shade. Echeveria ‘Afterglow’ should be planted in well drained soil. It tolerates winter rainfall.
