Category:

Evergreen succulent typically forming a solitary rosette to 8’’ tall x 12-24” wide though offsets are sometimes seen with this species. Attractive powdery-white leaves develop reddish-colored margins and the entire rosette can exhibit a lavender blush under some growing conditions. Elegant pinkish-orange flowers rise above the foliage on 18-24” tall flower stems that appear in summer. While capable of withstanding full sun in coastal climates it will perform best in partial sun to light shade in warmer inland areas. Low water needs once established but looks best when carefully given infrequent watering during the summer months. Be careful not to overwater in winter.  Hardy to at least 25° F.
