Eucalyptus Citriodora native to Australia is a lemon-scented gum tree. It grows as a tall slender broadleaf evergreen tree. It can reach 60-100 ft. tall in its native habitat. Notable features are smooth gray bark and narrow pointed yellowish-green leaves that are lemon-scented. Small white flowers rarely appear on young trees. Seedlings can grow rapidly to 6-8’ tall in one season. The tree shape is spreading with high arching branches at maturity. Eucalyptus Citriodora likes full sun medium moisture and in well-drained soils. It tolerates drought well.
