Moderate-growing evergreen ornamental grass to 15” tall and wide. This long-lived variety forms dense clumps of attractive, fine-textured, silvery-blue foliage initially upright-growing in youth, eventually arching with maturity. Bluish-green flower spikes rise above the attractive foliage in early-summer to eventually mature to tan, and should be removed if re-seeding is not desired. Great as color contrast in borders or edging, and makes an impressive group planting. Tolerates coastal conditions and a variety of soil types (provided they’re relatively well-drained) and while this variety can survive periods of wet soil, it requires little water once fully established. Thrives in a sun to partial shade exposure.
