Category:

Compact evergreen shrub to 2-3′ tall and wide. This attractive and popular variety features glossy olive-green leaves with creamy white margins accented with showy purple colored flower spikes that appear in summer. Requires a rich well-drained soil and some protection from hot afternoon sun in warmer inland areas. Great as background to low-growing perennials and takes well to shearing making it a good candidate for a small hedge. Attracts butterflies and bees. Prefers a partial to full sun exposure.
