Moderate-growing, clumping evergreen perennial forming a uniform mound to 12-18” tall x 14-20” wide. This unique hybrid variety is revered for both its attractive foliage and showy flower display. Eye-catching pewter-tinged purple leaves are accented with wiry stems topped with vivid-red flowers that rise above the attractive foliage in spring, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. Great as a low-growing border, as a filler between shrubs, or in mixed flower beds or containers. Prefers regular watering in a well-drained soil, and a partial sun to partial shade exposure. Requires protection from hot afternoon sun in warmer climates. Deer resistant.
