Plant Type

Shrub

Fast to moderate-growing tropical evergreen shrub with an upright open growth-habit to 8’ tall and wide. Can be pruned to maintain a smaller size or trained as a small single-trunk patio tree. This attractive long-blooming variety features lush glossy foliage and is prized for its large ruffled double canary-yellow flowers that appear throughout the warmer months attracting butterflies and bees. Thrives in heat and sun. Well-suited as a large flowering accent foundation screen or hedge planting and does well in containers allowing it to be relocated and overwintered during the frost periods of colder climates. Prefers a well-drained soil with regular watering. Full to partial sun.
