Iberis sempervirens Snowflake is an evergreen flowering groundcover with dark green leaves that look great all year. It forms a blanket of pure white blooms that cover the bed from spring to early summer. It blooms sporadically throughout summer especially if pruned. Iberis sempervirens comes from the Mediterranean region seen on rock crevices in the higher mountains and it makes a great addition to crevices in garden walls or between walkway stones. It is considered ideal for neglected garden spots because it thrives in poor soil and prefers to be rarely watered.
