Ilex c. Burfordii Nana is the dwarf version of a Burford Holly. It is an asset in compact gardens and produces less fruit than a Burford. The leaves usually have only one spine at tip.Ilex c. Burfordii Nana is perhaps the most popular of all ornamental berry plants. The berries last for several months and attract birds. It is most compact and fruitful when in the sun but it will tolerate some shade. Hollies range from 1 foot dwarf plants to 50 foot trees. Ilex c. Burfordii Nana is useful as a hedge a barrier or as a background plant.
