Forms an upright clump 1.5′ tall by 1-1.5 feet wide. In spring new leaves emerge bright green at the base tip turns to red intensifies in summer and fall with over half the leaf changing. Turns straw colored in winter. Best if cut to ground each year. Can withstand temperatures to 10* F hardy to zone 2. Needs heat to thrive and bloom well. Give regular water.
