Category:

Fast-growing perennial evergreen vine with stems to 15-30’ long. This vigorous-growing long-time garden favorite can rapidly cover a large area and features lobed lush deep-green foliage accented with a profusion of eye-catching white-throated violet-blue flowers appearing throughout the warmer months. This grateful species requires little fertilization or maintenance and is great for quickly covering fences arbors or trellises as well as making a fine container specimen. Unsupported as a groundcover the long-reaching stems of this species will root anywhere the stems come in contact with moist soil which should be considered when choosing a planting location. Prefers regular watering in a full to partial sun exposure.
