Juniper V. Burkii grows as a pyramidal shaped shrub from 10-25 ft tall by 4-10 ft wide. The leaves are scale-like with a dull blue band above a narrow green margin and with green beneath. They will look slightly purplish in cold weather. Burkii is excellent for use as a screen a background plant or simply as an accent plant. Juniper V. Burkii grows in a wide variety of soils and growing conditions. Burkii Juniper is quite aromatic when its foliage is handled or squeezed. It is a popular upright juniper variety that needs no trimming or pruning to keep a decent shape as it grows.
