Category:

Moderate -growing deciduous shrub or small tree with an open branching habit to 15-20’ tall and wide. Crape Myrtle has long been a popular landscape favorite and is revered for its vibrant floral display and attractive multi-toned peeling bark. This showy dense-growing variety exhibits good mildew resistance and along with its glossy dark-green foliage is prized for its magnificent display of abundant vivid coral-red flowers that appear mid-summer to fall. Adding further appeal is the attractive mottled light-grey tan and brown colored bark and a lovely fall foliage display in warm shades of orange and purplish-red. As a large shrub this variety is well-suited as a specimen accent or background and in tree form makes a great courtyard or street tree. Low water needs once established. Full sun.
