Fast-growing evergreen subshrub to 2-3 ft tall by 2.5-3.5 ft tall. Lavandula is revered for its delightfully fragrant and useful foliage as well as its abundant showy flower display. This tall-growing hybrid variety is revered for its toughness and drought tolerance and features aromatic silvery-grey foliage contrasted with slender spikes of violet-lavender flowers that rise above the foliage in summer attracting butterflies and bees. Remove spent flowers to encourage re-blooming and maintain a clean-looking plant. The versatile fragrant foliage of this variety is popular for sachets and potpourris while the blooms are great for dried flower arrangements. This sterile variety does not self-sow. Well suited for arid climates and is great as an accent border or low-growing hedge. Prefers a well-drained soil in full sun exposure.
