Moderate-growing evergreen shrub typically growing 6-8 ft tall by 4-5 ft wide. Takes well to shearing and can easily be maintained to a smaller size. Small needle-like bronzy-green foliage is cloaked in masses of showy double dark-pink flowers that present an eye-popping display in spring. Great as an accent in rock gardens or as a colorful screen and makes a fine container specimen as well. Thrives in a loamy to sandy well-drained soil and once established has low water needs and can withstand periods of drought. Prefers full sun exposure.
