Fast-growing evergreen shrub with an upright growth-habit to 8-10’ tall x 4-6’ wide. This popular and durable variety features oval glossy green foliage accented with masses of fragrant creamy-white flower panicles appearing in late-spring attracting bees and butterflies followed by clusters of bluish-black berries that attract birds in summer. Responds well to shearing and is ideally suited as a screen hedge or topiary specimen as well as making an attractive small tree. Prefers regular watering in a well-drained soil though well-established plants can survive on less frequent watering. Sun to light shade.
