Category:

Moderate-growing evergreen shrub to 6’ tall and wide. Can be pruned into a small, single-trunk patio tree. This compact-growing variety forms a dense rounded mound of lustrous, deep-burgundy-colored foliage accented with a profusion of frilly, vivid-deep-red flowers that make an impressive display late-winter into spring, with sporadic bloom throughout the year in mild climates. Well-suited as a foundation planting, border or accent, and is great for using as a color-contrast to green-foliage shrubs and perennials. Prefers regular watering in a well-drained soil, and thrives in a partial to full sun exposure.

USDA Zone: 7B-10B
