Category:

Moderate-growing evergreen shrub with a rounded growth habit to 4-5’ tall and wide. Smaller and more compact than most Loropetalum this handsome and versatile variety forms a dense mound of attractive foliage that emerges a shiny ruby-red to eventually transition to a deep-rich-green. Abundant clusters of frilly pink flowers appear primarily in spring with sporadic bloom year-round in mild climates. Great for using as a color contrast to lighter colored shrubs and perennials and is well-suited as an accent foundation planting hedge mass planting espalier or small patio tree. Also makes a great planter or container specimen. Prefers a well-drained soil in a full to partial sun exposure.
