Moderate-growing evergreen shrub with an arching growth-habit to 6-8’ tall x 4-6’ wide. This versatile variety forms a rounded-mound of attractive foliage that emerges a beautiful dark-burgundy transitioning to a bold deep-purple as it matures. Abundant showy clusters of frilly bright fuchsia-pink flowers appear primarily in spring with sporadic bloom year-round in mild climates. Great for using as a color contrast to lighter colored shrubs and perennials and is well-suited as an accent foundation planting hedge mass planting espalier or small patio tree. Also makes a great planter or container specimen. Prefers a well-drained soil in a full to partial sun exposure.
