Plant Type

Ornamental Grass, Grass-Like, Shrub

Fast-growing, clumping ornamental grass to 3-4’ tall and wide. Evergreen in mild climates, this attractive species features narrow, gracefully-arching green leaves accented with golden-colored flower plumes that rise above the rich-green foliage late-spring into winter. Well-suited as an accent, border or background, and is a great choice for planting in mass to help control soil erosion. Pruning to near ground level in fall or winter will help promote re-blooming and a strong re-emergence of spring foliage. Performs best with regular watering in a full to partial sun exposure.
