Moderate-growing, large evergreen shrub or small tree with an upright growth habit to 9-12’ tall and wide. This attractive variety is especially upright-growing compared to others in its genus, and features densely-set, fragrant dark-green leaves accented with clusters of frilly white flowers that appear at the branch tips in late-spring to summer. Flowers are followed by small, blueberry-like berries. Well-suited as a formal or informal hedge or screen and makes a great courtyard, container or planter specimen. Low water needs once established. Thrives in an acidic, well-drained soil in a full sun to partial shade exposure.
