Oenothera Siskiyou makes a great groundcover for dry slopes and other low-maintenance garden areas.  This perennial blooms in daytime producing delicate light-pink flowers with little or no care.  Oenothera Siskiyou spreads vigorously and is a drought resistant plant suitable for the native western garden.  Oenothera is versatile and often used as a filler for difficult dry garden spots.  Oenothera will often be seen at the edges of natural meadows.  It makers an excellent addition to rock gardens and planted around boulders in a natural landscape.  It is considered ideal for planting on mounds and slopes where good drainage is assured.  Oenothera Siskiyou can be equally at home in traditional perennial borders and cottage gardens.
