Plant Type

Grass-like

Reddish brown leaves with showy rosy turning to flax color plumes. Very showy! Prefers sun. Great for many landscape situations: containers mass foundation planting near a pool. Typically does not reseed like many other Pennisetum varieties. Low water requirement; however does look great with regular water. Does die back in winter. Cut back prior to season’s new growth.
