Pittosporum crassifolium ‘Nana’ is a dense evergreen shrub that grows only 2 to 3 feet tall and approximately 4 to 6 feet wide. It produces light green rounded leaves covered with grayish hairs. The new leaves tend to be brighter yellow green. In the spring it produces small fragrant maroon flowers. It grows well in full sun to partial shade in coastal areas but likes some shade in hotter inland gardens. Pittosporum crassifolium Nana looks best with occasional to regular watering when planted in well-drained soil.
