Moderate-growing evergreen shrub to 4-6’ tall and wide. This attractive and versatile variety forms an upright-branching, rounded mound of attractive, wavy, glossy dark-green leaves exhibiting a contrasting creamy-white midrib. New foliage emerges with a lovely chartreuse tinge that stands out nicely against its dark-colored mature growth. This compact-growing variety is ideally-suited for smaller sized landscapes and is useful as a specimen, foundation planting, border, formal or informal hedge, or as an attractive container specimen. Can also be pruned into a small patio tree. Tolerates coastal conditions, thrives with moderate watering in a well-drained soil, and prefers a partial to full sun exposure. Requires some protection from hot afternoon sun in warmer climates.
USDA Zone: 8-11
