Category:

Fast-growing evergreen shrub with an upright open growth-habit to 12-18’ tall x 6-8’ wide. This attractive variety features small glossy silvery-green leaves that contrast wonderfully with its sleek black branches. This versatile variety takes well to shearing and can be maintained to as low as 3-5’ tall making it a popular choice as formal hedge. Left un-sheared it develops an open branching habit where its attractive silver-sheened foliage is allowed to illuminate in the sunlight and shimmer in the breeze. Tolerates coastal conditions and prefers some protection from summer heat in hotter inland climates. Requires regular watering and prefers full coastal sun to partial sun elsewhere.
