Slow-growing evergreen shrub to 4-6′ tall x 4-5′ wide. This striking low-maintenance conifer features dense heavily-layered bright golden-yellow foliage growing in a compact upright globe shape. In cooler weather the foliage can develop an attractive bronzy-tinge. Flowers are inconspicuous but are followed by small gray-colored cones that contrast nicely with the golden foliage in spring. Provides a bold colorful accent anywhere in the landscape and Its small size is ideal for smaller gardens. Great as a single specimen as a foundation plant planted in multiples and will also do well in containers. Moderate water needs once established and prefers a full to partial sun exposure.
