Moderate growing densely-branched deciduous shrub to 2-3’ tall x 3-4’ wide. This lovely and highly desirable variety is prized for its abundance of dainty buttercup-like orange-red flowers that appear against a background of bright-green foliage mid-summer to fall and is a favorite of butterflies. Flowers can fade to yellow during intense summer heat. This low-maintenance species grows in a wide range of soil conditions and will look best if fertilized regularly. Great as a single specimen mass planting or hedge as well as making a good foundation or border planting. Moderate water needs once established. Prefers a full to partial sun exposure.
