Jasminum Mesnyi sometimes called primrose jasmine is an open growing evergreen shrub. It produces long slender arching stems that will climb like a vine if supported. Without support it grows in a fountain-like mound 5-10 ft high and wide. It has glossy dark green leaves and fragrant trumpet shaped flowers. Flowers are borne in early spring and occasionally into the summer. Primrose jasmine is very similar to winter jasmine but is less hardy.
