Plant Type

Shrub

Moderate-growing evergreen shrub with an upright, rounded growth-habit to 4-6’ tall x 6-8’ wide. This attractive and versatile selection features lightly-arching stems of dense-growing, leathery, glossy green leaves, elegantly-accented with spikes of fragrant, creamy-white flowers appearing in spring. Well-suited as an accent, foundation planting, screening or large-space groundcover, and can even be grown on an espalier. Tolerates coastal conditions and a variety of different soil types provided they’re well-drained. Prefers regular watering and fertilization in a full sun to partial shade exposure. Requires some protection from hot afternoon sun in warmer inland climates.

USDA Zone: 6-9
