This cold-hardy low-spreading variety features spiny arching branches of medium to dark-green foliage accented with a profusion of lightly fragrant white flowers in spring followed by abundant clusters of bright-red berries that attract birds fall into winter. Well-suited as a low-growing trimmed hedge or for planting in mass as a groundcover or slope planting. Prefers a well-drained soil. Moderate to low water needs once established. Full to partial sun.
