Moderate-growing deciduous tree to 35-45′ tall x 10-15′ wide. This narrow-growing variety features glossy, slightly wavy-edged, dark-green foliage that turns an attractive coppery-reddish-purple in the cool of fall. Prized for its abundant display of showy, clustered white flowers that appear in early-spring, prior to the emergence of its attractive deep-colored foliage. Flowers are followed by small clusters of brownish-colored ornamental fruit that persist through summer and into fall. Tolerates urban conditions and a variety of soil types, and is well-suited as a lawn, parkway, street or shade tree. This columnar-growing variety is particularly useful for narrow spaces. Though able to survive dry periods, this variety performs best with regular watering in a well-drained soil, and prefers a full sun exposure.
