Moderate-growing evergreen shrub with an upright compact growth-habit to 4-6’ tall x 4-5’ wide. This low-maintenance variety features unique upright branches of densely-set deep-green foliage with coppery-red new leaves appearing on the branch tips. Tight clusters of lightly-fragrant white flowers appear atop the attractive foliage in late-spring. Well-suited as an accent foundation planting mass planting hedge or container specimen. This species is drought tolerant but looks best with a light regular watering schedule. Prefers a well-drained soil in a full to partial sun exposure. Best flowering and growth-habit will occur in a full sun exposure.
