Plant Type

Shrub

Fast-growing evergreen shrub with a spreading growth habit to 2′ tall x 4-5’ wide. Rosemary has long been revered for its aromatic and useful foliage, as well as its profuse flowering display. This spreading variety features gracefully arching dark-green foliage with the unique blended fragrance of pine and mint, and is accented with a profusion of deep violet-blue flowers appearing winter through spring, with some repeat blooming in fall. A favorite for butterflies and bees. Well-suited as an accent, in mixed shrub borders, or as a colorful bank or slope groundcover. Also makes a good container specimen. Thrives in a variety of different climates, from direct coastal conditions to warm interior valleys and requires little water once established. Prefers a full to partial sun exposure and performs best in a fast-draining soil. Deer and rabbit resistant.
