Moderate-growing evergreen shrubby perennial with upright mounding growth habit 4-5′ tall and wide. This deer-resistant California native features aromatic gray-green foliage with deep lavender flowers in late spring-summer attracting bees, butterflies and hummers. Cut young plants back in winter to shape and encourage reblooming. Excellent selection for a woodland-type garden. Plant in full sun with well-draining soil. Prefers some water while getting established. Little summer water. Very low water requiring once established.
