Categories: ,

Moderate-growing, shrubby perennial with a mounding, upright growth habit to 2-3’ tall and wide. This attractive hybrid variety features unique variegated foliage, with olive-green leaves edged in creamy-white, accented with a profusion of vivid red flowers appearing at the branch tips late-spring into fall, attracting hummingbirds and bees. Well-suited as an accent, in mixed shrub borders, rock gardens or containers. Requires a well-drained soil, and while able to survive on little water once established, a more robust looking plant is achieved with occasional deep watering. Prune in late-winter to promote a more compact, heavier flowering specimen. Prefers a full to partial sun exposure.

USDA Zone: 10A-11
