Category:

Moderately fast-growing large evergreen shrub with a rounded growth habit, typically growing to 10-15’ tall and wide, or greater with age. Can easily be pruned to maintain a smaller size. This attractive species forms a rounded mound of lush-looking, palmately-divided, deep-green leaves that are perfect for adding a tropical appearance to the landscape. Well-suited as an accent, background, poolside planting, container or terrarium specimen, and can be grown indoors if provided with good light. Prefers regular watering in a partial to full sun exposure, though fully-established plantings can survive with less frequent watering. Some protection from hot afternoon sun in hotter inland climates is advised.
