Plant Type

Succulent

Low-growing evergreen succulent to 5-8” tall x 2-3’ wide. This drought-tolerant species features attractive, glossy, bean-shaped, orange-green leaves that develop a unique copper-tone in sunny exposures. Adding further appeal to this popular species, are the lightly-fragrant, frilly white flowers that appear above the attractive foliage late-winter to spring. Well-suited as an edging or groundcover in rock gardens, succulent gardens, or as an attractive color contrast to darker-colored shrubs or perennials. Also makes a fine container specimen. Requires a well-drained soil and little water once established. Thrives in a sun to light shade exposure.USDA Zone: 10A-11
