Moderate-growing evergreen succulent with a spreading growth habit to 12-18” tall x 24-30” wide. This drought tolerant species forms a dense mat of pencil-like, blue-gray leaves that angle upward from their spreading stems. Inconspicuous but intricate creamy-white flowers appear in mid-summer. Revered as a versatile groundcover that requires little water once established, but can also tolerate regular watering. This attractive species is especially well-suited as a groundcover or filler in rock gardens, succulent gardens or anywhere its attractive blue-hued foliage is desired. Also makes a fine container specimen. Tolerates coastal conditions and thrives in a full sun to partial shade exposure.
