Moderate to fast-growing deciduous shrub to 3’ tall x 4’ wide. This attractive variety forms a rounded mound of soft, lance-shaped foliage that emerges bright-lemon-yellow in spring, matures to lime-green by summer, to eventually turn warm shades of orange-red in the cool of fall. Abundant clusters of showy, flat-topped pink flowers appear atop the bright-colored foliage in summer. A favorite for butterflies. Spiraea blooms on new wood, so any pruning should be done in late-winter to early-spring for best blooming results. Well-suited as an accent, border, informal hedge or large-area mass planting. Prefers a well-drained soil, regular watering and a full to partial sun exposure.
