Moderate to fast-growing deciduous shrub to 3-5’’ tall x 4-6’ wide. This attractive variety forms a rounded mound of soft, lance-shaped foliage that emerges with an attractive bronzy-red tinge, maturing to a medium-bluish-green in summer to eventually turn lovely shades of burgundy and wine-red in the cool of fall. Abundant clusters of showy, flat-topped rosy-pink flowers appear atop the lush-looking foliage late-spring into summer. A favorite for butterflies. Spiraea blooms on new wood, so any pruning should be done in late-winter to early-spring for best blooming results. Well-suited as an accent, border, informal hedge or large-area mass planting. Prefers a well-drained soil, regular watering and a full to partial sun exposure.

USDA Zone: 4-9
