Category:

Fast-growing deciduous shrub to 3’ tall and wide. This popular long-blooming variety forms a rounded mound of foliage emerging in spring with an attractive purple tinge maturing to a rich green to eventually turn lovely shades of burgundy in the fall. Clusters of showy flat-topped vivid rosy-red flowers appear late-spring through summer attracting butterflies. Well-suited as an accent informal hedge or large-area mass planting. Prefers a well-drained soil regular watering and a full to partial sun exposure.
