Moderate-growing deciduous shrub to 6-9’ tall x 5-8’ wide. This hardy non-suckering late-season bloomer features attractive deep-green foliage accented with abundant clusters of fragrant bright-pink flowers appearing later than many varieties in mid to late-spring. A favorite for butterflies. Removing spent blooms or lightly pruning directly after flowering will promote a more compact and floriferous specimen. Well-suited as an accent background or large hedge and is great for planting near patios or entryways where its intoxicating scent can be fully enjoyed. Requires regular watering in a well-drained soil and prefers a full to partial sun exposure. Best flowering occurs in a sunny location.
