Category:

Moderate-growing evergreen palm to 25-30’ tall, forming an 8-10’ wide canopy with age. One of the hardiest of palms, this popular species features broad, deep-green, fan-like fronds held on an attractive, thatch-retaining tapered trunk. Highly popular as a landscape lighting subject and perfect for adding a tropical feel to any setting. Adding further appeal are the tight clusters of golden-yellow flowers that emerge from the base of the fronds in late-spring. Great for using in pool areas, and for its youth, can be grown in large containers. Requires little water once fully established, and thrives in a full sun exposure. Hardy to 10° F.

USDA Zone: 7B-11
