Fast-growing tropical evergreen tree with multiple trunks to 15-20’ tall and wide. Can be pruned into a single trunk specimen. This popular, lush-looking species is best-suited for milder climates, and forms a low-branched, rounded-head of highly-glossy, pinnately-compound, bright-green leaves that droop downward to create an attractive weeping appearance. Green flower buds appear in spring and summer, opening to greenish-colored flowers that are considered inconspicuous but are interestingly intricate, and unless removed, persist into fall and winter. Great for creating a tropical appearance anywhere in the landscape. Thrives in a rich, well-drained soil with regular watering, and prefers a full sun to partial shade exposure.
