Slow-growing evergreen succulent to 10-15’ tall x 6-8’ wide with age. This Southern U.S. and Mexico native is a trunk-forming species that features single or multiple upright-growing stems adorned with sharply-pointed, dark-green leaves that populate the upper portions of their rigid trunks. Adding further appeal to this heat-loving, drought tolerant species are the tall spikes of showy, creamy-white flowers that often exhibit a faint purple tinge, and rise above the bayonet-shaped foliage in summer. Great as a bold focal specimen or accent. Requires fast-draining soil and little water once established. Thrives in a full sun exposure.

USDA Zone: 7A-11
