Moderate-growing evergreen succulent to 6-10’ tall and wide. Native to the Southeastern United States, this bold, drought tolerant species spreads by offsets to form large colonies with age, with older specimens eventually forming upright trunks. Broad, gracefully arching gray-green leaves are accented with 3-5’ tall spikes of large, showy, creamy-white flowers that appear in late-spring or summer.  Great as an accent or focal point in arid landscapes, and can be grown as a large container specimen as well. Requires well-drained soil and little water once established. Thrives in a full sun exposure. Deer resistant.

USDA Zone: 7A-10B
