Fast-growing herbaceous perennial to 3-4’ tall, forming a clump to 3’ wide. This lush-looking species features large, bold, lobed, glossy deep-green leaves accented with tall spikes of dramatic, multi-toned white and lavender flowers that rise above the attractive foliage spring into early-summer. Makes a good cut flower. This species is evergreen in mild climates, but may experience a die-down in the heat of summer in warmer climates, with lush new foliage regenerating in the fall. Well-suited in beds and borders, as a background to lower-growing perennials, or as an attractive container specimen. Prefers regular watering in a well-drained soil, and thrives in a partial sun to partial shade exposure.
