Icee Blue® Podocarpus

Slow-growing evergreen tree with a columnar to pyramidal growth-habit to 15-25′ tall and wide. Attractive, narrow, dense-growing foliage matures to a unique grayish-blue color, especially attractive when contrasted with the emergence of its soft, light blue colored juvenile foliage. The versatile, graceful-looking cultivar requires little care and is well-suited as a lawn specimen, hedge or screening. With its tidy nature, it also makes a great poolside or large container planting. Though well-capable of thriving with moderate to little water once established, provide regular watering during its first few growing seasons for best results. Tolerates a variety of soil conditions and performs best in a partial to full sun exposure.
