Parthenocissus t. Veitch a colorful variety of Veitchii Boston Ivy has shallow-lobed leaves that create a jagged appearance. It is a clinging deciduous vine that is most well-known for amazing fall foliage colors.  The color display is rich and intense with scarlet purple-red yellow and orange hues with the onset of fall.  After the colorful leaves fall its berries remain decorative until they also fall.  Boston Ivy tolerates the dust pollution and air quality of a busy city environment.  It’s a good choice for walls or fences in city gardens.  Parthenocissus t. Veitch is considered more of a decorative plant than the normal species Parthenocissus tricuspidata.

Veitch provides a textured covering suitable for any large surface that receives sun.  Parthenocissus t. Veitch prefers moist well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
